Our Story

A close mother-to-be in our lives was going through pregnancy, and instead of the magical experience everyone talks about, she was overwhelmed by something no one prepares you for… the constant battle to sleep. Night after night, she propped herself up with a mountain of pillows, only to wake with aching hips, a sore back, and tears from sheer exhaustion.

As a physiotherapist, it broke my heart to see her struggling with pain I knew could be eased. It was painful to watch her lose pieces of herself to fatigue. She would whisper, “If I could just get one good night’s rest, I’d feel human again.”

One night, after another message saying she hadn’t slept at all, we made a promise to each other:

“If we can’t find something that truly helps mums sleep better, we’ll create it ourselves.”

And that’s how Mumsrest was born, out of genuine care, frustration, and the belief that every mum-to-be deserves deep, healing rest.

Every product we design comes from those moments, the pain, the late-night conversations, the tiny wins that meant everything. We’re not just building a brand. We’re building something we wish existed for the women we love when they needed it most.
